On May 5th, 2010 our life was redefined when we discovered that I have a tumor
growing in the spinal cord of my neck.

The purpose of this blog to keep an updated record of our "Life Redefined" and give you the details you might be wondering about (surgery, recovery and other random daily stuff, etc...)

For our friends and our family members who want to be kept updated this is the easiest way for us to do it. It's also good therapy for me to write it down!

We still want you to call or visit if you feel like it - we find so much strength from you. All of your words and encouraging thoughts and prayers are a great blessing for us!

I'll Have Beautiful Feet in the Hospital Anyway....!


I went to a Day Spa today for the 1st time in my life!  A Mother's Day gift from my husband!  A few friends and I treated ourselves...the ironic thing is that we've had this planned for several weeks and it turned out to be perfect timing!  A wonderful couple of hours with wonderful friends and a Peppermint Pedicure in a lovely massaging chair!

(Please ignore my veiny feet...just focus on the happy bright red toes!)

LOVE the toes! I know I always feel better about myself when my feet are pretty for some reason! Thanks for the fun time! So glad it worked out!

Love them...especially those cute green flip flops! I'm so glad you have those pretty toes to remember a fun time with friends who love you. Definitely a good time!
